Jamie Koop began his insurance career directly after graduating from St. John’s University in 1979.
While working as an insurance officer at the First National Bank of Crosby, Jamie obtained property, casualty, life and health insurance licenses.
He later obtained the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation through the Insurance Institute of America.
Between 1984 and 1986 Jamie purchased three different long time insurance agencies in Crosby and formed his agency, Jamie Koop Insurance.
With the same location on Main Street Crosby since 1979, a staff with many years of experience, and having represented the same insurance companies for most of those years, the agency offers countless client advantages including:

About Michael Koop
Mike Koop (Jamie’s son) has worked in the insurance business for over sixteen years.
Mike graduated from St Cloud State University in 2002 with a 4 year degree in Risk Management and Insurance.
He has since worked full time in various capacities in the business including financial planning, property and casualty sales, and as a full service independent agent.
In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and following his four kids in their sports including hockey, baseball and dance.

Trisha Abear (Jamie’s daughter) has been in the insurance business and an agent for Jamie Koop Insurance since 2000.
She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and keeping involved in her kids’ activities.
